So very excited to introduce you all to today’s ‘What’s Sexy Now’ featured guest, Christine Rose Elle! I discovered her gorgeous blogs recently and pretty much fell head over heels for her! Hope you enjoy getting to know her too!
What makes a woman sexy?
A woman is sexy when she cherishes herself so deeply that it pours out and inspires others. She is sexy when her confidence comes from a place of curiosity about life and ability to laugh during challenges.
Famous female that most embodies sexy to you:
Audrey Hepburn for her style and generous spirit.
Marilyn Monroe for her sultry humor.
Sophia Loren for her timeless beauty.
Favorite sexy film or literature (or both):
Annie Hall for showing the complexity of relationships.
Gone With the Wind for showing the tenacity of love and the mistakes we make.
Song or Album that never fails to put you in a sexy mood:
Anything by Nick Drake.
Fashion or beauty trend, product or item or designer collection that you find sexy:
Italy! Without a doubt. For me Rome is the most Romantic city on Earth!
What makes you feel sexy?
I feel the sexiest when I am relaxed, have had enough “me time” and have a new chemise!
Any parting thoughts on this subject?
Sexy is not about how you look, or what you wear. It is about how deeply you love yourself and how that radiates out in the form of self-confidence. When you genuinely love yourself you are willing to be vulnerable in front of others. Vulnerability is actually a place of strength, because you are confident enough in yourself to let someone else in. And there is nothing sexier than that.
Christine Rose Elle is a self-proclaimed glamour girl. Her idea of glamour is not what you wear on the outside, but how sparkly you feel on the inside. Her signature mash-up of girly style with a sparkling soul came from her love of pink lace dresses and passion for radiant well-being.
Ten years ago she walked away from a successful career as a designer and commercial wardrobe and product stylist to pursue a dream of living la dolce vita in Rome, Italy. Her life in Rome continues to inspire her insights, art and writing from her tiny Victorian cottage.
Her how-to articles have been published in several magazines, and blogs. When she is not writing, she teaches workshops and gives talks about style and self-care. She is currently working on her first book Style a Lovely Life.
When she is not writing or behind her computer she can be found planning her next voyage to Venice, Rome or Cortona where she has been known to escape for months at a time.
She lives in Los Angeles with her beloved husband and two dogs where is writes daily from her clutter-free pink office.
