I can finally let the cat out of the bag. [themecolor]Las Vegas Weekly[/themecolor] wrote an article about boudoir through the eyes of Haute Shots! I was completely thrilled when they contacted me to do an interview. I could talk all day about boudoir, after all. But, I was ecstatic that boudoir was finally being recognized in our local magazines.
The interview is amazing in and of itself (especially reading what some of my past clients had to say), but it gets even better. They asked me to shoot the story! This is a dream come true for me in many ways. Obviously, as a photographer it’s an honor to be asked to shoot for a magazine. But, it made me remember some of my past dreams as a Graphic Designer who fantasized about working for Greenspun Media.
There was a catch though for shooting the feature. I had to hand over the files at the end of the photo shoot! Eeeks! That meant I wouldn’t get to retouch them. This was a hard thing to grapple with as a boudoir photographer since retouching is such an important part of what we do. However, I trusted they were in good hands with the creative director.
The whole team there at the shoot was pretty incredible and with all of our efforts, produced a pretty kick-ass article. What do you think? Go have a look for yourself [themecolor]right here.[/themecolor]
