How long before I will receive the prints from my shoot?
All sessions are processed in the order that they are taken. It takes up to 2 weeks to process all of the images and create your personal viewing gallery of proofs. You then select your final images for products and then digital retouching takes 1 week to complete. Add a few extra days for the creation of your product layout, such as album page designs etc. Product vendors take approximately 2-5 weeks, depending on the product ordered. If you are just ordering prints our lab takes approximately 1 one week or so to print and ship it back to us. We use only the top professional print labs and product vendors in the country, after careful research. You can see more information on products in the Welcome Kit as well as in the Store feature of your online proofs gallery.
PLEASE NOTE that these are the average processing times and factors such as Stacie’s shoot schedule, the workload ahead of yours and the time of year may increase processing times. If you need your photos in a shorter timeframe there is a Rush Service available for an additional fee. We can also discuss which products might be quickest for you too. Please contact us for more details.

What if I decide I want to upgrade the album that comes with my package to a bigger album?
You can easily do so in the Store of your gallery or by emailing Stacie.

What if I want additional products not offered in my package?
Most clients end up adding products to their order after seeing their images. This is easily done in the Store area of your online gallery of proofs.

I see you offer Encaustic Prints. What in the World is this?
Simply put, encaustic paintings, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. Encaustic painting dates back to the ancient Greeks and is a beautiful way of turning your photo into an absolute work of art. This is a new offering for Haute Shots, so at this time we do not have samples to show you.

Are having prints made required or can I just get photos that I can use online (web ready)?
You do not need to have prints made, although nearly all of our clients that thought they would not want prints changed their mind after seeing the images from the shoot. Haute Shots owns the rights to all photos and you may only publish photos with our watermark on the web or anywhere else unless you have written permission from us. This is non-negotiable.

I need pictures for a web site or other commercial venture. Do you offer photos without your watermark?
Yes, we do offer the option that includes a release for commercial, or web usage. The images delivered to you will not have the Haute Shots watermark on them. Other conditions may apply so please inquire.
